North Country Rep. Elise Stefanik raised $618,000 from July through September this year for her campaign for re-election to the House of Representatives.
One particularly significant donor is for North Country Rep. John McHugh.
Her campaign organization, Elise for Congress, said the total raised for her campaign so far is more than $2.8 million.
The campaign said she still has $1.1 million on hand.
Notable among the campaign's third quarter donors is former U.S. Army Secretary and nine-term U.S. Representative John McHugh.
“I’m especially grateful to former U.S. Army Secretary and nine-term U.S. Representative John McHugh for his generous support of our campaign,” Stefanik said in a statement from her campaign office.
“John McHugh has long been a strong, local voice on behalf of our district, and I’m honored to have him as a supporter and friend.”
Stefanik, a Republican from Willsboro, is challenged in this election by Democrat Mike Derrick of Peru and Matt Funiciello of Glens Falls, the candidate of the Green Party.
