North Country Rep. Elise Stefanik, R, Willsboro, says she will be sharing stories of North Country veterans on her congressional website during November in honor of veterans and Veterans Day.
“Our military service members have sacrificed so much to keep our nation safe, and I am honored to serve these brave veterans in Congress,” Stefanik said.
For those, Stefanik is inviting residents of New York’s 21st district who have served in the military or know someone who has to submit photos and stories from their time in service. Stefanik will be sharing these stories and photos on her website (Stefanik.house.gov) and Facebook in November.
Stories and photos can be sent to ny21vets@mail.house.gov or to Stefanik’s Glens Falls office at 136 Glen Street, Glens Falls, N.Y., 12801. Don’t mail original photos.
Those submitting material are asked to include a short description of the branch, title, and assignment for photos. Also, they are asked to be sure they have permission to share photos and stories before sending.
