Rep. Bill Owens will hold a telephone town hall 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26.
Owens plans to give a quick update on policy in Washington and his recent work in the district and then take questions.
A random sample of residents in New York’s 21st Congressional District will receive an invitation by telephone to participate in the conference call on Wednesday. However, constituents of the 21st district can request an invitation in the following ways:
· emailing name and complete phone number to ny21townhall@mail.house.gov
· calling the congressman’s Washington office at 202-225-4611
· filling out the form at http://owens.house.gov/Contact/TeletownHall.htm.
For those unable to participate in the telephone town hall, questions or concerns can be sent to Owens by calling any of his offices in New York or Washington, by visiting his website at http://owens.house.gov, connecting with Rep. Owens on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/repbillowens, or following him on Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/BillOwensNY.
“The most important thing I can do as a Member of Congress is answer questions and listen to my constituents’ ideas,” Owens said. “Telephone town halls give me the chance to speak with thousands of constituents across the district and lets them share their views with me. I encourage all who can attend to do so.”
