A group of North Country musicians called The Gathering will be part of the lineup at this Sunday's Singer Songwriter Session at the legendary Greenwich Village club The Bitter End.

David Wells, Amber Nezezon, and father and son Greg and Michael Jadlos, all veteran musicians, will play their set starting at 10:30 p.m. at the club at 147 Bleeker Street.

“The Singer Songwriter Sessions at the Bitter End in New York City is designed to enable up and coming artists to perform at this historic venue,” it says on the Bitter End web site.

The Gathering web site, http://wellsandthegathering.com/, says of their music: No Egos. No Genres. Just Good Music.

David Wells is from Heuvelton but has spent a lot of time writing and performing music from New York City to Ogdensburg. During the recording of his third solo album, David and Rik Woodward recruited Greg Jadlos of Potsdam and Amber Nezezon of Massena to add bass and violin to the mix. And finally Michael Jadlos was brought in to play drums for the group.

Their set at The Bitter End can be streamed live by going to http://www.bitterend.com/ and clicking Live Stream.
