The cookie program is a hands-on leadership and entrepreneurial program that teaches girls skills that will help them grow into leaders in their own lives, leaders in business and leaders in the world. Through the Girl Scout Cookie Program girls learn goal setting, decision-making, money management, people skills, and business ethics.
In recognition of their 100th anniversary there is a new cookie, Savannah Smiles, is inspired by Savannah, Georgia, hometown of Girl Scouts’ founder Juliette Gordon Low. The cookie is a lemon cookie dusted with powdered sugar. Other cookies available this year are Thin Mints, Samoas, Trefoils, Do-Si-Dos, Tagalongs, Dulce de Leche, and Thank You Berry Munch. Cookies are still $3.50 per box.
