CANTON -- Community Bank officials say they are inviting the community to consider learning more about or supporting one of the many causes the bank is supporting this holiday season.
Specific local activities include:
• Gouverneur branch is participating in Operation Christmas Child and the Community Angel Fund to give those in need a more plentiful and pleasant holiday.
• Potsdam branches on Market Street and May Road raised money to purchase 3-4 gifts for 30 children in foster care in St. Lawrence County with the Children’s Home of Jefferson County in Canton.
• Watertown branch donated a decorated tree to North County Festival of Trees. The tree was auctioned off, with proceeds benefiting the Watertown Family YMCA and Samaritan Medical Center Foundation. Employees also participated in the Salvation Army Angel Tree program.
