POTSDAM – The Family Fun Costume Run in Potsdam raised nearly $500 for the North Country Children’s Museum, according to organizers.
Because of the turnout on Oct. 21 organizers are hoping to make it an annual event.
“Throngs of costumed participants ran through the streets of downtown Potsdam and Munter trails for the 1.5-mile Family Fun event benefitting the North Country Childrens' Museum,” a release from orgnizers said.
This race was planned by Violet Dean as her Capstoner Project as a senior at Potsdam High School She raised nearly $500.
Awards were given for first place in each age group and for best costume.
