POTSDAM -- The North Country Children's Museum was recently awarded a $10,000 grant from the Grassroots Fund to support the interior construction of the permanent facility at 10 Raymond St., said a press release from the museum.
"We're so grateful to the Grassroots Fund. We are currently installing the waterproof flooring for our Adirondack Waterplay Exhibit with this award," said NCCM's executive director Sharon Vegh Williams.
The museum will bring hands-on, minds-on learning to area families and opens doors to the public in April.
The Museum has raised $980,000 to date with $20,000 remaining in their capital campaign.
