Assemblywoman Addie A.E. Jenne has taken back her maiden name, according to the Theresa Democrat’s office.
Judgments of divorce and annulment entered in the Jefferson County Clerk's Office for December 2016 include a listing of James Russell and Addie Jenne Russell, according to a posting of the list on Newzjunky.com
“I was born Addie A.E. Jenne and with recent changes in my personal life I felt it was appropriate to return to a name in my personal and professional lives that has always been important to me,” the assemblywoman’s office quoted her as saying. “I am proud to carry the name of a family that has called the North Country home for seven generations.”
Jenne represents the Assembly’s “River District,” the 116th, which includes all St. Lawrence County towns along the St. Lawrence River (Massena, Ogdensburg, Louisville, Waddington, Lisbon, Oswegatchie, Morristown, and Hammond) plus the towns of Canton, Potsdam, Rossie, Macomb, and DePeyster, and part of Jefferson County.
