A Norfolk woman who threatened her nephew with a 10-inch butcher knife has been committed to county jail without bail, according to Norfolk Town Police.
Police report that they responded to a domestic dispute at 1989 Plumbrook Road Monday, where they found Elaine M. Franklin, 46, in a loud altercation with her nephew, Devon J. Apgar.
According to Apgar, his aunt held a butcher knife to his neck, making a 5-inch cut, and threatened to kill him.
She was charged with second-degree assault, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
