Norfolk man charged with driving drunk at more than three times legal limit

MASSENA -- A Norfolk man was charged with felony drunk driving at more than three times the legal limit at 5:45 p.m. Sunday.

Edward F. Moerlins, 48, was charged with driving while intoxicated by Massena-based state police following a Route 56 traffic stop.

Troopers say Moerlins failed to keep right and was pulled over and found to be intoxicated.

Moerlins was charged with aggravated DWI. His blood alcohol content was determined to be .30, which is more than three times the legal limit of .08.

Additionally, Moerlins was ticketed for failure to keep right.
