NORFOLK -- The American Legion Riders of Post 925 drew the winning tickets for their “Christmas in July” Lottery Tree raffle on July 7.
Gerald Thomas won all of the scratch off tickets on the tree as the first place prize.
Frank Francia won $50 in cash as the second place prize. He donated his winning back to the American Legion Riders.
Proceeds raised will be used to donate to other charities throughout the year, to fund social events, and to cover other costs incurred.
The St. Lawrence Valley Chapter of the American Legion Riders has been active since 2005. Membership is open to all members of the American Legion family who are motorcycle enthusiasts. They meet on the third Sunday of the month at 1 p.m. at the Norfolk American Legion.
