NORFOLK – The Norfolk American Legion Auxiliary has had a particularly successful fundraising effort for the annual donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, contributing $750 to the Memphis-based institution.
Throughout the past 20 years the Norfolk American Legion, Unit 925 Auxiliary has donated money to the hospital in support of the highly regarded medical research and work, including its role in treating and defeating childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
The Auxiliary’s Christmas tree raffle benefitted from the participation of many Legion members and guests who bought raffle tickets to support the cause.
