CANTON -- SUNY Canton is seeks nominations for the 2014 College Council Distinguished Citizen Award.
Nominations must be submitted in writing and include the nominee's name, position or title, and a brief biography and are due by Feb. 3. At least three letters of support from non-family members should accompany the nomination.
Submit nominations to Mr. Ronald O'Neill, College Council Chairman, SUNY Canton, 34 Cornell Drive FOB 616, Canton, NY 13617.
The college council will select the recipient during its March 2014 meeting with the winner being announced in May. Last year's recipient was John J. Gray Jr., CPA, founder and managing partner of Gray & Gray Certified Public Accountants in Canton.
The college has given the award every year since 1976 in recognition of exceptional and distinguished service to SUNY Canton, the community, state, or to the nation.
