CANTON -- The E. J. Noble Guild of Canton presented Canton-Potsdam Hospital $34,355 as its annual donation.
The donation represents funds raised through the guild’s signature events, including the Guild’s Holly Berry Bazaar held each December, an annual gala held in the summer, and annual soup luncheon, held each spring.
This year’s Holly Berry Bazaar is Saturday, Dec. 5.
The $34,355 donation comprises $20,000—the final installment of a $100,000 pledge toward the Creating Healthier Communities capital campaign; $5,000 for two scholarships to support nursing students enrolled at the State University of New York at Canton, $7,100 for the Patient Navigation Program for integrative care in Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s Center for Cancer Care; and $2,255 to purchase heart monitoring equipment and three temporal thermometer scanners for Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s Critical Care Department.
