No deer management permits will be issued for St. Lawrence County this year, but hunters can apply for permits to hunt in other areas.
First-Come, First-Served DMPs will be available starting on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
These permits will only be available in person and cannot be purchased over the phone or online.
Each night the number of permits issued in each WMU will be reviewed and any units that reach their quotas will be closed and not available the following day.
If the customer previously purchased a DMP through the instant lottery (8/1/16-10/1/16), they will not be charged for their FCFS application.
If the customer did not purchase a DMP in the instant lottery, they will be charged $10 for their FCFS application.
Permits will be available in the following wildlife management units: 1C, 3M, 3R, 3S, 7F, 7H, 8A, 8F, 8G, 8H, 8J, 8N, 8R, 9A, and 9F.
