POTSDAM -- The winner of the Potsdam Ponderosa free bike raffle at the Outer Market Mania and Touch-A-Truck event at the Potsdam Summer Festival was nine-year-old Teddy Jarvis.
The UPS Store hosted the second annual Outer Market Mania and Touch-A-Truck
event during the 2013 Potsdam Summer Festival Friday, July 12 in the Save-A-Lot parking lot.
More than 400 kids attended the event, which included trucks for kids to investigate, games and crafts, a bike rodeo and magic shows by Cubby T. Clown & Co.
Dance performances were given by Step It Out Dance Studio and 4-Ever Young Dancers who dedicated a performance in memory of Garrett Phillips.
"The success of this event is due to the generosity of our community members who come together to provide a fun and educational event that is free to the children of Potsdam and surrounding areas," states Janice Adderley, event organizer.
