MASSENA -- Visitors to Massena will soon be welcomed with new signs.
The Town Council voted to spend $54,000 on four new “Welcome to Massena” signs from SignTech.
They use gold leaf inlays on the display’s words, which prevents tarnishing.
“Our ‘Welcome to Massena’ signs are pretty old and pretty dilapidated … and they need to be replaced,” Town Supervisor Joseph Gray said.
Gray also offered the option of using electronic signs with a programmable message, but the board went in the other direction.
