New physician assistant joins Colton Health Center

Alicia Flint provides comprehensive health care, including vaccinations; screenings for cancer, heart disease, and other illnesses or disorders; school and work-related physicals; care for common ailments; as well as referrals for specialist care. She can perform minor diagnostic and treatment procedures, such as Pap tests and ear flushing.

Originally from Potsdam, Flint received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Clarkson University, following completion of her bachelor of science degree at St. Lawrence University. She completed more than 1,800 hours of clinical rotation experience in a variety of practice settings before beginning her career with a practice in Canton.

The Colton Health Center is 7:30 a.m.to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

It is operated by Canton-Potsdam Medical Practice (CPMP) under the umbrella of the St. Lawrence Health System, with medical leadership from Jan Close, MD.
