OGDENSBURG -- Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center recently hired physician assistant Anuja Thatte.
Thatte works at the Richard E. Winter Cancer Center, 5 Lyon Place.
Thatte earned her master of medical science at Arcadia University Physician Assistant Program, Glenside, Penn. She completed clinical rotations in pediatrics, radiology behavioral health, internal medicine, women’s health, family medicine, cardiology, and emergency medicine. Prior to that, she earned a master of public health from Drexel University School of Public Health, Philadelphia, Penn. She relocated to Ogdensburg from Philadelphia after completing her training.
Thatte is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She has won several awards and honors during her schooling and has also assisted in and published research.
“I have always had a passion for hematology and oncology. I have a constant desire to better the health of communities through a compassionate approach and great clinical expertise.” She continued, “By joining the exceptional team of providers at the Richard E. Winter Cancer Center, I can continue Claxton-Hepburn’s tradition of providing high-quality oncology services and help make a difference in the community," Thatte said in a prepared statement from CHMC.
