OGDENSBURG -- A new photography studio will host a it’s grand opening Nov. 24 from 2 to 4 p.m.

The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce will celebrate with a ribbon cutting at Sheer Lace Photography, LLC, 7713 State Highway 68, Apt.#1 ribbon cutting ceremony at 2 p.m. with owner Lacey Beldock.

“Sheer Lace Photography is a premium boudoir studio that helps busy moms get over their negative body issues so they can reclaim their beauty without sacrificing their privacy. Sheer Lace Photography promises to put client comfort, professionalism and privacy above all and while maintaining an environment that is fun and relaxing. I opened up the commercial studio in May of 2018 and it includes multiple sets for portraiture,” Beldock said.  “My studio is a little different because I use a process called "same day viewing" to show my clients their images.  I am proud to show them their images straight out of the camera because I believe women do not need photo shop to look great.  The use of proper wardrobe, posing, shooting and lighting is how I show my clients their beauty.  This is also beneficial because my clients do not need to take additional time off work to do a photoshoot and they don't need to spend any time worrying whether their images turned out or not!” 

Beldock recently completed an educational program that allowed her to earn her Boudoir Certification so she is officially a Certified Professional Boudoir Photographer – the only one in New York State, presently.
