Pastors have been appointed to the United Methodist churches in Massena, Norfolk and Brasher Falls.
Heather Lynn Macrow Stierheim was recently named pastor at the First United Methodist Church, 189 Main St., Massena, and Grace United Methodist Church, NYS
Hwy. 37C, Massena.
Her husband, Gregory P. Stierheim, has been appointed pastor of the Norfolk, Brasher Falls and Buckton United Methodist churches.
Both were welcomed to the church at the Upper New York Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church conference in Syracuse. Heather and Gregory also both received their master of divinity degree from the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
For the past 12 years Gregory has been involved in full-time youth ministry at United Methodist churches in western New York, Kernersville, NC, and Bethel Park, Penn.
