MASSENA -- The Village Board on Tuesday voted to hire a new Massena police patrolman and a new Massena Fire Department paid fire driver.
Ross Dixson was hired as a patrolman. He currently works for the county Sheriff’s Department as a St. Lawrence County jail corrections officer. He will be paid $16.13 per hour to start.
Thomas Blair will be the new driver. He is a former Louisville Fire Department chief, Massena Fire Department captain and an Alcoa retiree. He will be paid $14.49 per hour to start.
