POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam Swimming and Diving Head Coach Ken McLaughlin has announced the appointment of Meaghan Cunningham as the Bears' diving coach for the 2013-2014 season.
Cunningham joins the Bears' staff after serving as the head diving coach at Western State Colorado University.
In a solid athletic career with the University of Vermont swimming and diving program, Cunningham was selected as the team's most improved diver and placed seventh at the American East Championships in as a junior in 2011 and, as a senior, she scored in the one-meter and three-meter dives at the conference finals.
Cunningham, a Keene, N.H. native, holds a bachelor's degree in education with a concentration in English from UVM.
The Bears open their 2013-14 campaign with a dual meet at Skidmore College on Nov. 2.
