POTSDAM -- The Community Performance Series at SUNY Potsdam has promoted Jason L. Dominie as its next executive director.
Dominie had praise for his predecessor, Amy Flack. “She taught me a tremendous amount about the arts and the significant impact that they have in our lives." Dominie said.
Crane School of Music Dean Michael Sitton welcomed Dominie to his new position: "We are grateful for Jason's numerous contributions to CPS, including those made during our recent interim period, and I am pleased that he has taken the leadership role for CPS, as it continues to contribute significantly to the cultural life of our region."
Sitton added praise for Patti Mason, CPS education coordinator, and for Karl Doty, who served as interim artistic director, noting that "this outstanding team led CPS both in concluding a very successful season and planning another exciting series of events for 2017-18."
With the recent transition, CPS is currently searching for an audience services manager to oversee the box office and front-of-house operations. For more details, please visit employment.potsdam.edu.
