NORWOOD -- The BOCES GED Fast Track Program begins a new class this month at the Norwood Adult Ed building on State Rt. 56.
The program is designed for adults who need to improve specific skills in order to be successful. The class is intended to meet the needs of the serious student. The class is fast paced and provides intensive instruction to prepare students to sit for the GED Test in six weeks. The GED Test will be offered at the conclusion of the class for those students who successfully complete the GED Official Practice Test with a score of 2500.
Students must be 19 years of age or older. They must take an entrance test from 1 to 4 p.m. or 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 18 to prove academic readiness for the class.
The class will run from Sept. 24 to Nov. 5 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Students cannot miss more than two classes.
