POTSDAM — Last month the Harlem Ambassadors competed against the Potsdam Heroes in a charity basketball game to raise money for the Potsdam Kiwanis Club.
The game took place during a snowstorm on Nov. 20, but that did not stop the crowd from having a good time during the game, a Kiwanis press release said.
The crowd was nearly a sellout and saw the Heroes lose by a few points when the buzzer sounded signaling the end of the game.
“There were a lot of action and hilarious antics demonstrated by the visitors,” the email said. “Everyone enjoyed the entire show, despite the wet heavy snowfall happening outside.”
