Nearly 30 students from Lisbon walk the stage at Lisbon Central School

LISBON -- Nearly 30 students from Lisbon walked the stage at Lisbon Central School Friday.

Several of the graduates will also be honored for earning a grade point average of 90 or above those students include:

• Margaret Crowley, daughter of James & Rita Crowley, has earned the highest GPA at Lisbon in the Class of 2017 with a 95.38. Maggie, a LeMoyne College Presidential Scholarship winner, will attend LeMoyne College to pursue a degree in biology. Maggie earned college credits during senior year through Canton College distance learning.

• Reiley Burwell, daughter of Michael & Renee Burwell, is ranked second in the class with a 95.22 GPA. Reiley, an Augsbury/North Country Scholarship recipient, has enrolled at St. Lawrence University for fall 2017 in an undeclared major. She earned college credits from SUNY Canton through distance learning.

• Cheali Kench, daughter of Melissa Kench, is ranked third in the honors group with a cumulative average of 94.08. Cheali, a Clarkson Achievement Scholarship winner, plans to pursue a physical therapy degree this fall at Clarkson University. She has earned college credits from North Country Community College through the Allied Health program at Northwest Technical Center.

• Lorraine Hollis, daughter of Kevin & Heather Hollis, has earned a GPA of 93.87 over her four years at Lisbon. Lorraine, a Siena Presidential Scholarship recipient, will attend Siena College this fall majoring in psychology. Lorraine has earned college credits through distance learning SUNY Canton courses.

• Dana Olmstead, daughter of Dawn Brainard & Dan Olmstead, has earned a place in the honors group with a cumulative GPA of 92.46. She will pursue a veterinary technology major at SUNY Canton in the fall. Additionally, Dana has earned college credits from North Country Community College through the Allied Health program at Northwest Technical Center.

• Koby Jordan, son of Kris & Katie Jordan, is a member of the honors group, having earned a 91.25 GPA. Koby, a SJFC Founders’ Scholarship winner, has enrolled at St. John Fisher College in the sports management program for the fall 2017. He has earned college credits through Canton College distance learning.

• Hannah Beebie, daughter of Don Beebie & Shellie Beebie, is ranked within the honors group with a cumulative GPA of 90.93. Hannah will attend Clarkson University this fall to study biology. Hannah also earned North Country Community College credits through the Allied Health program at Northwest Technical Center.

• Anna Robinson, daughter of Shelley & Dale Robinson, has earned a GPA of 90.62 during her high school career. Anna will pursue a degree in Equine Studies at Centenary College this fall in New Jersey. Anna earned college credits through Canton College distance learning.

• Kane Jordan, son of Robert & Shannon Jordan, has earned honors group status with a 90.25 GPA at Lisbon. Kane, a Provost Scholarship recipient, is enrolled at St. Bonaventure University this fall to pursue a career in the music business industry. Kane earned college credits through Canton College distance learning.
