CANTON – Nearly 100 runners and walkers completed the four-mile course on Valentine's Day in the third event of the 37th annual Frozen Foote Series.

The course was slippery, and it was windy and five degrees above zero at race time.

Chaz Agen led the pack with a time of 24:21. Ben Shelton was second in 24:32 followed by Ben Swimm in 24:49.

Victoria Lederer continued her streak as the first female finisher with a time of 27:55. Olivia Rehm ran the course in 31:15, and Kelly Fountain rounded out the top three in 31:21.

The last run of the season will start at 10:30 a.m. March 14. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. in the lobby of Appleton Arena, Miner Street.

Runners and walkers who have completed at least three of the series four events this winter can pick up their T-shirts that day.
