The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory from midnight until 8 a.m. Friday through much of the North Country, including St. Lawrence County.
Although daytime high temperatures will remain near 70 through the weekend, lows could reach the freezing mark tonight.
Although fall is fast approaching temperatures will improve early next week with a high of 79 expected Wednesday.

This Afternoon: Sunny, with a high near 63. Northwest wind around 10 mph.
Tonight: Areas of frost after 11pm. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 32. Northwest wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.
Friday: Areas of frost before 9am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 68. Southwest wind 6 to 13 mph.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 49. Southwest wind 13 to 15 mph.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 73. Southwest wind 11 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.
Saturday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 54. Southwest wind 11 to 16 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Sunday: A 40 percent chance of showers before 9am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 65. North wind around 9 mph.
