The U.S. Chamber of Commerce endorsed U.S. Congressional candidate Matt Doheny Thursday at a press conference hosted by the Business Council of New York State.
The business lobbying group is meeting in Bolton Landing.
“The U.S. Chamber is committed to advancing a pro-business majority in Congress and that means educating voters about the pro-growth policies of candidates like Matt Doheny,” said Rob Engstrom, the U.S. Chamber’s senior vice president and national political director. “New York is crucial to achieving the Chamber’s goal of electing leaders to the House of Representatives that support free enterprise. In the 21st district, there couldn’t be a clearer contrast between the candidates on that issue.”
The U.S. Chamber’s endorsement is part of the organization’s largest effort in its 100-year history aimed at promoting candidates it deems "pro-business."
