POTSDAM -- My Mix 96.1 FM (WVLF) and SUNY Potsdam Athletics will head into their fourth season as broadcast partners this winter.
The Stephens Media Group Station in Massena will carry a combination of 34 men's and women's basketball and hockey contests during the 2016-17 season.
Veteran play-by-play man and SUNY Potsdam Alum Warren Potter comes back to his alma mater to call 10 men's basketball games, 11 women's basketball games, 11 men's hockey games and two women's hockey games. Bears Hall of Fame Hockey Coach John Horan remains in the booth to join Potter for this season's men's hockey contests.
Out of the area fans, parents and alums can listen to the station's audio streamed over the internet at www.mymix961.com or accompanying the live video stream provided through www.potsdambears.com.
My Mix 96.1 is one of three stations in Massena owned by Stephens Media Group which also operates heritage station WMSA 1340 AM and 101.5 FM The Fox serving northern New York and southern Canada.
