The Red Knights hosted a motorcycle ride to benefit the Cerebral Palsy Association of the North Country this past July.
The route started off at the Elks Lodge in Potsdam and included stops in North Lawrence, Waddington, Morristown, Heuvelton and Madrid.
After the ride, participants met at the Elk’s Lodge in Potsdam for a buffet dinner and raffle prizes. Approximately 47 riders participated in the event, which raised $2,370 for the Cerebral Palsy Association of the North Country.
The Red Knights International Motorcycle Club is made up of active and retired firefighters, with 300 chapters nationwide. New York Chapter 35 was formed in 2007 in northern St. Lawrence County, and has grown to over 50 members.
