CANTON – A Morristown woman faces was charged with felony falsifying records following a Canton Police investigation.
Chief Victor Rycroft said Lucinda Elliot, of 501 Main St., was charged on 24 counts of falsifying business records and 24 counts of petit larceny.
The charges stemmed from an investigation in November when a local physician’s office reported bookkeeping irregularities in its accounts received.
Police said Elliot was arraigned and released by Town Justice Curley and released on her own recognizance.
