MORRISTOWN – A fire believed to have been started by an electrical malfunction has destroyed a trailer and damaged a garage and bass boat in Morristown.
The Brier Hill Fire Department was called out 12:43 p.m. Sunday to 9 County Rt. 5, property owned by Tom McHale of Rush that was unoccupied.
Morristown and Hammond firefighters also went to the scene. Heuvelton and Redwood were on standby.
St. Lawrence County fire investigators said the cause was electrical.
The Brier Hill department was back in service at 3:46 p.m.
The property was insured, investigators said.
