CANTON -- A Morristown man has been charged with illegally selling a .357 magnum revolver.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies have charged Jason C. St. Germain, 35, of 3253 State Rt. 37, with criminal sale of a firearm, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a firearm, a misdemeanor.
Deputies said St. Germain sold the unregistered Ruger pistol to a Robert Gotham without a permit for the weapon.
They said the sale happened an Aug. 22, and the arrest came Sunday.
St. Germain was arraigned before Canton Town Justice Curley and was released.
