MORRISTOWN -- The St. Lawrence County Planning Board encourages residents of the Town and Village of Morristown to attend a public meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 16 at the Brier Hill Fire Hall, 2680 State Highway 37, to discuss the community’s comprehensive plan for the next 10 years and beyond.
The Planning Office is preparing a comprehensive plan for Morristown to help guide the future growth and development of the community.
Development of the plan has been under way for several months, with input sessions held in last November and in April. Tuesday's meeting is intended to allow an opportunity for seasonal residents to have input on the plan. Planning Office staff will summarize work done to date and ask attendees to share what they would like Morristown to look like in 10 years.
