MORRISTOWN -- The ice skating rink behind the Morristown Fire Station at 200 Morris St. is now open.
The ice rink is open daily, weather permitting. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. It is illuminated from 4 to 10 p.m. There are hockey sticks, pucks and nets at the rink. Ice skates are available at the village clerk’s office at no charge. The clerk’s office, 402 Gouverneur St., is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The ice rink is sponsored by the Village of Morristown and the Morristown Fire Department. Skating is free and open to the public.
