MORRISTOWN -- A Morristown fire that resulted in the total loss of a building, as well as the death of two pets, is under investigation.
The fire occurred around 10:23 a.m. at 2857 St. Hwy. 37, according to St. Lawrence County fire investigators.
The property, owned by Rocco Perretta, was occupied by Teresa Morrow and one other person, investigators said.
Brier Hill Fire Department and Morristown Rescue Squad responded, and Hammond and Morristown Fire Departments provided mutual aid.
Heuvelton and Redwood were on standby, investigators said.
A cat and dog were reportedly lost in the fire.
The investigators were unsure if the building was insured.
