MORRISTOWN -- Through the generosity of Morristown Central School and the Class of 2013 over 50 United Helpers Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRA) and Individualized Care Facility (ICF) residents, along with family members and staff were able to attend a prom complete with refreshments and a DJ on Sunday, May 13, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Morristown Central School.
The Class of 2013 had their prom the night before and volunteered to leave all the decorations up so that United Helpers Residents could enjoy the festivities the next day. “The residents came dressed in gowns and tuxedos,” said Corky Hewitt; United Helpers Program Manager at Spruce Street ICF #1.
“Thank you Morristown Central School and the Class of 2013 for making this event such a great time for our residents.”
