MORLEY – The Morley Cemetery Association is seeking donations for its upkeep.
The association’s budget comes from donations, burial plots being purchased, and a small amount when a burial takes place.
Those who have a family member buried there who would like the grounds looking beautiful might consider donating for maintenance.
Donations can be sent to the Morley Cemetery Association, PO Box 594, Canton, NY 13617.
Returnable bottles may also be dropped off in red building on the property for donation .
If the association is unable to keep the grounds up, the cemetery could end up being turned over to the town of Canton, which would mean mowing and trimmong only twice a year.
