CANTON -- St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies said they charged a Morley man after he allegedly stole his neighbor's Social Security check and cashed it.
Scott C. Simmons, 25, 134 Church St., was arrested Saturday for two counts of petit larceny and third-degree forgery, according to deputies.
He was issued appearance tickets and is due to appear in Canton Town Court at a later date, police said.
Deputies stated the U.S. Postal Inspector has been notified as well.
