The National Weather Service says there is a chance a bit more snow will fall through Sunday night.

Meteorologists say there is a 40 to 60 percent chance that up to three more inches could come down tonight in most communities, with the mountainous southern reaches of the county looking at another five inches. Temperatures are forecast around freezing during daylight hours and lows in the mid-20s at night.

Sunday brings up to 70 percent chances of another inch or two during the day and a 30 to 40 percent chance of less than a half inch at night. The Star Lake area is looking at an 80 percent chance of up to three inches during the day and 50 percent odds of another half inch at night. Daytime temperatures are predicted in the high-20s and getting down below 10 degrees at night.

Monday is anticipated to be mostly sunny during the day and partly cloudy at night, with highs around 18 degrees and lows around 8 degrees.

Sunday: Snow showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 29. West wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
