More record high temperatures for this date could come our way today.
After a record high of 60 in Massena last Thursday, we could break the record for today's date, 64 degrees, set in 1995. The forecast is for a high around 65 today.
We're not likely to break the monthly record high temperature. According to weather-warehouse.com, the highest temperature recorded at Massena in March was 84 in 1998. Those records go back to 1949.
The sun is expected to make an appearance this afternoon, after some lingering showers. Gusty southwest winds could top 30 mph today.
Cloudy skies and a slight chance of showers persists through Wednesday night before the sun returns Thursday, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
Showers could return Thursday night and Friday.
