POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Community Band performed a concert, "Musicals, Marches, & More," on Aug. 25.
Though the temperature reached 90, the musicians and audiences members enjoyed the afternoon performance on the front lawn of Potsdam High School.
Show tunes from numerous musicals were highlights of the performance, along with marches by John Phillip Sousa, Sousa, Karl King, R.B. Hall and Louis Ganne.
The band of 60, directed by Theresa Witmer, is now in its third year and draws musicians of all ages from throughout the North Country.
