More than 350 students from the 48th state senate district participated in the New York State Senate’s Thanksgiving Day Creative Celebration.
More 48th district students participated than any other senate district.
The celebration invited students to share their poems, essays and artwork inspired by what they are thankful for.
Students from Heuvelton Central School, Lisbon Central School, Madill Elementary School, Morristown Central School and West Side Elementary School participated in the Thanksgiving event.
Each student will receive a signed certificate from Sen. Ritchie for participating in the program.
