MORRISTOWN -- Over 350 senior citizens from all corners of St. Lawrence County enjoyed food and fun at a picnic hosted by the St. Lawrence County Council of Senior Citizens and supported by the Administration for Community Living, St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging and the United Way.
The event was at Morristown Fire Hall.
The event featured numerous activities and attractions including bingo, a 50/50 raffle, craft demonstrations and an antique car show.
Various health and senior services agencies provided information tables at the event, including AARP, Red Cross, Cornell Cooperative Extension, Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, New York Statewide Senior Action Council and St. Lawrence County Public Health.
Following lunch, a solo member of Steelin’ Country performed a concert while audience members participated in song and dance.
