As ice continues to coat the North Country, more than 2,000 National Grid customers are without power, especially in the southern and western portions of St. Lawrence County.
A total of 404 customers in Russell, 484 in Hammond, 422 in Gouverneur, 132 in Richville, 99 in Rossie, 58 in Macomb, 115 in Hermon, 68 in Edwards, 177 in DeKalb and 28 in Colton were reported to be without electricity shortly after 6:45 p.m. tonight.
National Grid is projecting power will be restored later tonight.
