LISBON -- More than 120 North Country athletes in grades 7-12 sharpened their skills this past week at the 5th Annual Section X High School Skills and Conditioning Soccer Camp hosted by Lisbon Varsity Boys Soccer Coach Bill Reed at Lisbon Central School.
Student athletes from Lisbon, Colton-Pierrepont, OFA, Canton, Morristown, Edwards-Knox, Parishville-Hopkinton, Massena, Hermon-Dekalb, Heuvelton, Clifton-Fine and St. Lawrence Central came together this week to prepare for their upcoming soccer seasons.
The coaching staff included Dicky Marcellus, Taylor Jordan, Greg Kiah, Matt Caufield, Jim Nee, Craig Bogart, Matt Morley, Ryan Hayes, Kelley Geary, Adam Kelley, and Tyler Gallagher.
Camp met each day for three hours, with athletes participating in team warm-ups, seven skills and conditioning stations and team cool-down activities followed by a camp culmination game day, refereed by Section X officials, on Thursday.
