GOUVERNEUR -- More than 100 pets were vaccinated at a no-cost rabies clinic Thursday evening.
All together, more than 300 pets have been vaccinated through three no-cost clinics state Sen. Patty Ritchie hosted in St. Lawrence County. The clinics, held in conjunction with the St. Lawrence County Public Health Department, were made possible through a special grant secured by Ritchie.
So far this year, St. Lawrence County has confirmed 23 cases of rabies in wild animals.
